Finance Graduate Scheme - Register your interest

This vacancy is open to capture those interested in applying for our Finance scheme, we do not have a fixed date for interview currently but will be in contact as and when positions arise.  We may also contact you should there be other suitable roles.

You’ll be part of the team supporting delivery of the company strategy, adding value every day within our Finance Division. We cover all aspects of Finance ranging from management accounting to taxation. There are opportunities longer term which may include joining our London Finance team on successful completion of your qualification.

This gives you the chance to influence and add value to Debenhams commercial decision making processes from day one, undertaking accounting activities as well as developing a broad range of relevant skills.

This opportunity will give you exposure to a large network of people whilst the rotational aspect of the scheme will enable you to develop your understanding across our business as well as developing and gaining confidence within the world of Finance. As an accredited employer for both CIMA and ACCA, our combination of hands on training and support to pursue professional qualifications will provide you with an excellent foundation for launching your career.

You will be joining a three year graduate programme starting with placements in the accounting and shared service centre based in Taunton Somerset before progressing to the business partnering teams based in London. Once qualified and experienced, future management opportunities will exist in both locations.

What we need from you….

We are looking for motivated and engaging individuals to support our positive, sociable and fun culture. The ability to communicate effectively is a pre-requisite as well as having a questioning approach. Highly numerate and analytical, you have a sound level of commercial awareness and are flexible about the location you work in.

You are currently studying at degree level and must be predicted a minimum 2:1            

Part of this process will include an online numeracy based test.


This role is based in our Taunton Support Centre, Bedford House, Park Street, TA1 4DB.
